F. Implant Fixation F.1. Final Trial Reduction Apply the patellar trial, femoral trial, tibial baseplate trial, and tibial insert trial to the corresponding resected bony surfaces. Test for the joint laxity and range of motion, and observe how muscles and ligaments react at extension and flexion. If it is too loose or too tight, adjust the soft tissue tension to ensure both joint stability and mobility are ideal. After testing is done, remove all trials and clean the cutting surface. 23
